Chameleon Peptides shut down on September 27, 2026, and its public notices give no reason. An independent reviewer reports that the closing email cited Visa compliance notices; we could not verify that. Its 84 issuer-matched COAs stay in our COA library for lot checks, and Puratek Peptides, Orbitrex Peptides and Amino Club are the closest top-rated replacements.
Key takeaways
- Closed: Chameleon Peptides shut down on September 27, 2026. Its storefront now shows only a closure card, and the other pages we tested return HTTP 410 “Gone.”
- Why: Its public notices give no reason. An independent reviewer reports the closing email cited Visa compliance notices; neither it nor we have seen them.
- Track record: At its last review Chameleon was one of the top-rated vendors on PeptidePrices and one of the most popular with our readers, with 84 COAs matched to Janoshik, Vanguard Laboratory and Horizon Analytical records.
- Past customers: Email support@chameleonpeptides.com for order help and lab reports, keep your records, and use your card's dispute process if an order never arrived.
- COAs: All 84 certificates stay in the PeptidePrices COA library as a historical record, so a lot can still be checked against the lab's own lookup.
- Alternatives: Puratek Peptides and Orbitrex Peptides list 27 of Chameleon's 32 compounds and Amino Club lists 26; Amino Club's PEPTIDEPRICES code is 40% off.
In this article
Chameleon Peptides shut down on September 27, 2026. Its storefront at chameleonpeptides.com now shows a single card: “Chameleon Peptides is closed. We are no longer accepting orders.” The card sends existing customers to support@chameleonpeptides.com for order help and lab reports. It gives no reason and no reopening date.

This article has two halves. The first looks back at Chameleon as PeptidePrices knew it, because it earned that. The second covers what is documented about the closure, what it means for past customers and their COAs, and where to buy now.
In memoriam: Chameleon Peptides, 2025 to 2026
In my opinion, Chameleon Peptides was one of the best vendors we had on PeptidePrices. It was also one of the vendors our readers enjoyed most. Its record here explains why.
— Jack Ryan, co-founder, PeptidePrices
Chameleon was one of the first vendors we listed on PeptidePrices. Its rating rose steadily over the months it was listed, a sign of how consistently it operated. At its last review on September 23, it was one of the top-rated vendors on the site and one of the most popular with our readers.

What stood out
- A testing ledger it kept in public. Chameleon published its testing ledger by product and batch. When we captured it in September, it held 44 product controls, 87 batch controls and 115 product-and-batch views. Every one of the 84 certificates we kept matched the issuing laboratory's own record.
- Panels beyond purity. Depending on the certificate, panels covered identity, purity, measured content, endotoxin, heavy metals and sterility.
- Plain sourcing language. Chameleon said its orders dispatched from Sacramento and that synthesis often took place overseas through ISO 9001 manufacturers. It did not claim US manufacturing it could not support, and we scored that disclosure as a transparency strength.
- Easy to buy from. Free US shipping, same-day dispatch on most early orders, and card, Apple Pay and ACH checkout.
- A reference for our own tools. One of Chameleon's Janoshik reports was among the known-good samples we used to check how the PeptidePrices COA checker reads Janoshik reports.
What an independent reviewer found
One independent write-up covered Chameleon while it was trading. In summary:
- A matching verdict. It also rated Chameleon at the top of its own rubric while the store was trading, and now keeps that score as a dated record, not a recommendation.
- The same testing picture. Its count of the public ledger found the same 44 products and 87 batches, with 539 COA links, most of them Janoshik references and many of the rest Vanguard. It counts links; we count certificates matched to issuer records, so the totals differ.
- The same buying experience. Free FedEx 2Day shipping from Sacramento, and card, Apple Pay and ACH checkout before the closure.
- A dated closure. It dates the shutdown to September 27, 2026, from the customer email Chameleon sent that evening, and reports that the email cited Visa compliance notices sent to Chameleon's banks. It says it has not seen those notices.
- A caution. It advises against buying from any site that claims to be a Chameleon relaunch.
The reviewer's findings are its own, and we have not re-checked its counts.
What happened: the closure timeline
- October 8, 2025: The chameleonpeptides.com domain was registered, according to its RDAP record.
- September 20, 2026: An Internet Archive capture shows the store open, with an age gate, a research-use notice and its catalog.
- September 23, 2026: PeptidePrices reviewed the store while it was open: product pages and the testing ledger were online.
- September 27, 2026: Chameleon Peptides shut down. An independent reviewer reports a customer email that evening announcing the closure.
- October 1, 2026: The same reviewer reports a farewell email saying the website would stay available to existing account holders.
- October 2, 2026: An Internet Archive capture shows a “Permanent closure” notice: “Chameleon Peptides has concluded regular business operations, and our online storefront is now closed.” The reviewer also reports a sale of remaining inventory at 50% off that day, payable only by Bitcoin or Zelle.
- October 15 and 17, 2026: Archived captures, such as this one, show “Chameleon Peptides is now closed for new purchases,” with an existing-customer sign-in for order history and lab reports.
- October 22 and 23, 2026: The homepage shows only the closure card. The shop, product, account and testing pages we tested return HTTP 410 “Gone.”
We could not confirm the October 1 email or the October 2 inventory sale ourselves; both rest on that reviewer's account.
Why it closed
Chameleon's public notices do not give a reason. The only account we found is an independent reviewer's report that the closing email cited Visa compliance notices sent to Chameleon's banks. Neither the reviewer nor PeptidePrices has seen those notices, so treat the reason as reported, not confirmed. Our searches found no other statement from the company, news coverage or regulator announcement about the closure.
Nothing in this article alleges wrongdoing by any person or company. Where a claim rests on one source, we say so.
What it means for past customers and their COAs
- Email the address on the closure card. It directs existing-order questions and lab-report requests to support@chameleonpeptides.com. Ask for order status, tracking and the lab report for your lot in writing.
- Keep your records. Save order confirmations, receipts and every email, with dates.
- Use your card's dispute process if something never arrived. Card payments usually come with a goods-not-received dispute route. Deadlines run from the statement date, so act early. A refund is not guaranteed.
- Know your payment method. Bank transfers, ACH, Zelle and cryptocurrency often have no dispute route at all.
- Be careful with relaunch claims and private offers. Verify any seller that says it is Chameleon, or is taking over its customers, before sending money.
- Do not treat a posted COA as proof on its own. Confirm the lab, report number and lot through the lab's own lookup, and match the lot to what you received. Our guides to reading a COA and verifying a COA, and the COA checker, can help.
- Talk to a clinician about health concerns. This article does not assess product quality or safety.
What happens to Chameleon's COAs
Before the closure, PeptidePrices had matched 84 Chameleon Peptides certificates to official issuer records: 75 Janoshik, 7 Vanguard Laboratory and 2 Horizon Analytical. They stay in the public COA library as a historical record, so anyone holding Chameleon vials can check a lot against the issuing laboratory's own lookup. For the Janoshik reports, our Janoshik verification guide shows how; for the Horizon Analytical reports, see the Horizon Analytical guide.
The certificates describe the lots they cover and nothing newer. The store's own testing ledger is offline, and no new Chameleon reports will be added. Chameleon is no longer listed in the vendor directory or the price index.

Comparing any other supplier
Beyond this list, use the vendor directory and the price index to compare currently listed suppliers. Match the compound, amount and formulation before comparing price; a familiar blend name can hide different ingredients or concentrations. Check the offered batch's report and whether the supplier ships to your address.

Frequently asked questions
Why did Chameleon Peptides shut down?
Chameleon's public notices give no reason. An independent reviewer reports that the customer email announcing the closure cited Visa compliance notices sent to Chameleon's banks. The reviewer says it has not seen those notices, and neither have we, so treat that reason as reported rather than confirmed.
When did Chameleon Peptides close?
Chameleon Peptides shut down on September 27, 2026. PeptidePrices last reviewed the open store on September 23, and an Internet Archive capture from October 2 already shows a permanent-closure notice.
Is Chameleon Peptides coming back?
Nothing we found announces a reopening; the archived October 2 notice calls the closure permanent. Be careful with any site or private seller that claims to be a Chameleon relaunch, and verify it independently before paying.
Can I still get help with an existing Chameleon order or its lab reports?
The storefront's closure card directs existing-order questions and lab-report requests to support@chameleonpeptides.com. The customer sign-in that mid-October captures showed is no longer available. Keep your own records, and use your card's dispute process if an order never arrived.
What happened to Chameleon's COAs on PeptidePrices?
PeptidePrices had matched 84 Chameleon certificates to official issuer records: 75 Janoshik, 7 Vanguard Laboratory and 2 Horizon Analytical. They stay in the public COA library as a historical record for lot checks. The store's own testing ledger is offline, and no new Chameleon reports will be added.
How did PeptidePrices rate Chameleon Peptides?
At its last review on September 23, 2026, Chameleon was one of the top-rated vendors on PeptidePrices and one of the most popular with our readers. It was one of the first vendors we listed, and its rating rose over the months as it kept operating consistently.
What are the best Chameleon Peptides alternatives?
The closest top-rated matches are Puratek Peptides and Orbitrex Peptides, which each list 27 of Chameleon's 32 compounds, and Amino Club, which lists 26. Glacier Aminos, Amino Science Labs, Lost Coast Aminos, NeuroLabs and ZC Labs are also strong partners with public COA libraries. Check the exact compound and amount before ordering.
