What the market shows

PeptidePrices found 6 in-stock listings from 6 vendors, checked through Oct 8, 2026. The lowest 10mg cost is 27% below the vendor median of $54.62; 3 vendors (50%) fall below that median. 6 of 6 vendors (100%) publish public COA evidence.

A public COA link shows that a vendor publishes testing data. It does not prove that every listed vial has a matching current report. Match the product, strength, batch, and lot before relying on a report.

How this report is calculated

The headline and median use each vendor's lowest whole-package checkout cost to obtain at least 10mg. Smaller packages are multiplied until the target is met, while larger packages retain their full checkout price. The lowest package total is shown only as secondary context because package sizes differ. Known public coupon discounts are applied. Shipping, tax, and unverified promotions are excluded.

Research context

What is Prostamax? Research, safety, and status

Prostamax is a synthetic tetrapeptide: lysine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, proline. The 2013 rat paper describes it as a new tetrapeptide made by peptide synthesis, not an extract. Like the rest of the family, it is proposed to act by loosening condensed chromatin and reactivating genes that switch off with age.

The developers' 2021 systematic review never names Prostamax. It mentions KEDP once, in a passage on how peptides with mixed acidic and basic residues shift DNA melting temperature. A 2023 paper from the group scored KEDP among the best ligands for the LAT1, LAT2 and PEPT1 transporters in computer docking. That is a modeling result, not measured uptake.

Key research takeaways

Prostamax is a four-amino-acid peptide from the Khavinson bioregulator program. The sequence, Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro, is consistent across the papers that state it.

Most of its indexed research is not about the prostate. It is chromatin work in blood lymphocytes from elderly donors, done largely by a Tbilisi genetics group that has collaborated with Khavinson.

The one prostate study we found is a 2013 rat model of chronic aseptic prostatitis, published in a small open-access journal. It reports less swelling, inflammation and scarring after 15 days of treatment.

No human trial exists in PubMed or ClinicalTrials.gov. We found no US patent for this sequence, unlike Bronchogen, Cardiogen and Livagen.

Online sources mis-cite the literature. One widely linked wiki page attaches the wrong title, authors and journal to the main PubMed record.

PeptidePrices safety rating

6/10 · Not FDA-approved

Mechanism

Proposed prostate-tissue bioregulator; lymphocyte studies report chromatin decondensation effects in cells from older donors.

Research areas

Prostate-tissue and male-reproductive bioregulator research. Human clinical benefit is not established.

Regulatory / research status

Research / preclinical only

Half-life

Not established in direct human pharmacokinetic studies.

Storage

Lyophilized vial: store at -20°C long-term or 2-8°C short-term, protected from light.

Reported side effects

Human safety data is sparse. The available evidence is mainly preclinical and small Russian studies from one research group, and it does not establish clinical efficacy.

Russian bioregulator; short peptide; limited but clean data. Human evidence is thin and mostly from one research group. Safety ratings summarize published clinical data, adverse-event reporting, and regulatory status. How PeptidePrices rates evidence. Research information only, not medical advice.
