Is Modified Aminos legit?

Yes. Our October 25, 2026 review retained 125 distinct report sets, with 92 covering four or more completed analytical categories and 35 exact matches to official Ethos Analytics PDFs. The combination of testing depth, named clients, measured content and traceable laboratory copies is a strong point in its favor.

The reports go well beyond a single purity percentage. The reviewed archive includes identity and content assays, endotoxin and metals testing, microbiological or sterility panels, and 35 reports with fentanyl screening. Our issuer-matched MOTS-c example documents both tested vials' amounts, >99% purity and additional panels on two complete pages.

This review covers modifiedaminos.shop, the company disclosures, customer feedback and published ordering terms. Modern Aminos is a separate brand. Below, we show what the reports establish, which files match laboratory originals, and the specific older results worth reading alongside the strong overall testing record.

What we checked in the COA archive

The October 25 research set contains reports dated February 3–September 27, 2026 from Ethos Analytics and Vanguard Laboratory. Each retained report names Modified Aminos as the customer. The counts below describe that dated documentary research set, rather than a count of products currently for sale.

Evidence in our retained research set Report sets
Ethos Analytics 93
Vanguard Laboratory 32
Exact matches to official Ethos files 35
Other vendor-hosted documentary reports 90
Four or more completed analytical categories 92
Numerical purity reported, including threshold values 82
Fentanyl screening included 35

We counted a multipage certificate as one report set. A second image of the same VIP certificate was retained as another source version, without adding another report to the total. The merchant's index cards, files, report sets and current offers are different units.

Across the 82 reports with numerical purity, the main-compound results range from 98.15% to >99.80%. A result printed as “>99%” remains a threshold; it is not an exact 99.00% measurement. The archive includes identity, purity, content, endotoxin, metals, microbiological or sterility testing, and fentanyl screening, with different coverage by report. A pending result does not count as a completed category.

What “issuer matched” means here

For 35 reports, the vendor file and the PDF obtained through Ethos's own registry had identical SHA-256 fingerprints. On October 26 we rechecked those retained file pairs and downloaded the official MOTS-c example again; it still matched. These are exact document matches, with Modified Aminos named on the report.

The remaining 58 Ethos documents had no exact entry in the registry capture. The 32 Vanguard reports remain vendor-hosted documentary evidence: its public brand search returned no Modified Aminos records in the October 25 check. Those lookup outcomes describe verification access; they are not failed analytical results.

Reports that explain the findings

MOTS-c: an exact official Ethos match

Ethos report 26EA0911-023, completed September 16, 2026, names Modified Aminos and lot MA-MOTS-102. It reports 10.44 mg and 10.40 mg against a 10 mg-per-vial specification, with >99% chromatographic purity in both tested vials. Identity was confirmed by retention-time agreement with a reference standard.

The two-page report also includes endotoxin, metals, microbiological and fentanyl results. Its microbiological method is Petrifilm/qPCR; describing this as a USP <71> culture-based sterility test would change the method. The official link opens the complete laboratory PDF.

BPC-157: high purity with lower measured content

Vanguard report V260326-16012, reported April 20, 2026, names Modified Aminos and lot MA-BPCP-51, labelled BPC-157 5 mg. It prints >99.80% chromatographic purity but 3.89 mg and 4.10 mg measured content. Those amounts are 77.8% and 82.0% of the stated 5 mg.

This is a concrete example of why purity and content need separate reading: a high purity percentage can accompany less material than the label states. The complete two-page vendor-hosted report includes additional testing. Its issuer status remains documentary, and the April measurements describe the tested samples rather than later lots.

A second April Vanguard report, Cagrilintide 10 mg, V260326-16008, records 8.66 mg and 9.06 mg for lot MA-CAG-101, or 86.6% and 90.6% of label. It too remains documentary evidence.

NAD+: keep the component purity and pending result intact

Vanguard report V260302-20011, reported March 18, 2026, covers NAD+ 500 mg, lot MA-NADP-5001. It separates >99.80% total chromatographic purity from 98.15% and 98.17% NAD+, with 1.85% and 1.83% nicotinamide. The two tested vials contain 604 mg and 599 mg NAD+.

Its second page prints sterility as Pending. We preserve that status; the other completed panels do not turn it into a completed sterility result. This is another vendor-hosted documentary report.

Raw material and finished products need separate evidence

Some older bulk-powder reports are linked from capsule or spray records. A bulk-material assay documents that material. A finished capsule or spray needs its own formulation-specific content evidence. Match the printed sample type, compound, strength and lot before applying a certificate to a finished item. Our COA reading guide explains the fields.

Customer reviews: a dated snapshot

In our October 25, 2026 Trustpilot capture, Modified Aminos showed 4.8 out of 5 from 350 reviews, with 93% five-star and 3% one-star. The profile was claimed in September 2026 and showed a paid Trustpilot subscription.

The reviews we read praised delivery speed, prices and support. Complaints included non-delivery and checkout friction. Some positive entries described placing an order before receiving it. These are customer accounts about ordering and service; laboratory results above come from the certificates.

Trustpilot reported no replies to negative reviews in that capture. Read the current Trustpilot profile for newer submissions.

Modified Aminos on Reddit

We read the comments in two relevant Reddit discussions on October 26, 2026. They offer a small set of firsthand impressions and questions about the seller, with one account appearing in both threads.

In r/tressless, a May 22, 2026 comment asks whether Modified Aminos's PP405 and its certificate can be trusted. A July 18, 2026 reply reports receiving a different order in three days, while explicitly leaving its quality unassessed. That reply provides a concrete positive delivery account; the earlier comment is a question about documentation, rather than evidence that a report is false. Dates here use Reddit's UTC timestamps.

The same account started the “Modified Aminos MT-2 Legit?” thread on July 17, 2026. In an August 13 follow-up, the author gave a favorable personal assessment, while also saying they had stopped after noticing skin changes. Another August 13 commenter expressed skepticism about the storefront. These comments concern personal experiences; the comments we read supplied no independent laboratory result tied to a received lot.

The Reddit picture is therefore a positive delivery report, some informal confidence and unresolved testing questions. The lab-document assessment above rests on the retained certificates and exact issuer matches. Threads about Modern Aminos concern the other company and are excluded from this summary.

Company information and operating history

The official company page, re-read October 26, identifies the operator as modifiedaminos.shop, a Wyoming LLC, with a Sheridan legal and mailing address and a Houston secondary address. It publishes a customer-support email and phone number. These are the company's own disclosures; our review did not establish a named owner or independently match a state registration.

The authoritative .shop RDAP record retained on October 25 dates domain registration to December 2, 2025. That domain date precedes the February–September 2026 reports in our reviewed set. Domain registration dates a web address, rather than establishing when a company began trading.

Shipping, returns and advertised payments

The published shipping and returns policy, re-read October 26, lists the following terms:

Published term Detail
Destinations Eligible U.S. addresses; the company page specifies mainland United States
Ground shipping $9.95
2 Day Air $24.95
Next Day Air $44.95
Free-shipping threshold None; the policy says cart value and promotions do not change the rates
Dispatch Normally the same business day for verified, paid, in-stock weekday orders by 2 PM Central; otherwise the next business day
Delivery Estimates rather than guarantees; the policy does not give a fixed Ground transit window
Unopened returns Authorization within 30 days; 20% restocking for orders accepting the October 8, 2026 terms
Transit protection Included replacement or refund for eligible loss, misdelivery or transit damage

The storefront advertises cards, bank payment and cryptocurrency. We did not complete a checkout inspection, so these are advertised options rather than verified checkout availability. Shipping prices above are published policy rates, rather than an address-specific checkout quote.

What to check on a certificate

Start with the laboratory, report ID, printed date, named client and lot. Then read the measured amount alongside purity, and check which extra panels were actually completed. Open both pages where a report has supplements. An exact issuer match establishes a document's correspondence to the laboratory copy; the measured values and sample scope still decide what that document says.

Our assessment of Modified Aminos's COAs is positive: a substantial vendor-named archive, broad analytical panels and 35 exact Ethos matches make this a well-documented testing record. Read the individual report for its measured amount, completed panels and lot; the specific older underfills and pending result remain visible in the examples above.
