Legitimacy review

Is MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc. legit?

MDx is an established operating laboratory with identifiable leadership and a long service history. It should not currently be described as accredited: its own site says its certificate expired and post-audit reaccreditation is pending.

Operating identity

MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc. says Earl L. White, Ph.D., Lt. Col. (Ret.) founded the company in 2008. The official contact location is 5890 Imperial Loop, Suite 12, College Station, Texas.

Operating history and strongest evidence

Named founder, fixed address, operating history since 2008, broad technical service menu, and recurring issued reports.

Accreditation scope

The official site states that its certificate expired and is pending reaccreditation after a March 2026 audit. No current active PJLA listing was found in the reviewed directory search.

Methods and intake

Official services include chromatography, mass spectrometry, qPCR, TLC, GC, FTIR, wet chemistry, endotoxin, peptide analysis, pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity work, and method development. Pricing is quote-based.

Public service record

Dedicated independent customer evidence is sparse. A second MDx-branded domain makes a 48-to-72-hour claim, but its canonical relationship to the primary site was not confirmed.

Important limits

The prior accreditation is not current; the two branded domains and any conflicting contact details require reconciliation. A pending accreditation process is neither an active accreditation nor evidence that the laboratory is invalid.

Additional operating evidence

MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc. describes a College Station, Texas laboratory founded in 2008, with peptide analysis centered on HPLC-DAD and mass-spectrometry workflows plus microbiological services.

Verification context

MDx certificates use a Search Code that can be entered in the laboratory's COA search. The current laboratory site says its ISO/IEC 17025 certificate is pending reaccreditation after a March 2026 audit; that dated statement should not be upgraded to a current accreditation claim.

COA verification

Can I check a MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc. COA?

Submit the certificate's numeric Search Code to the official COA search or file resolver and compare the returned official document.

Official destination
Public form search or a direct official PDF/file URL returned by the resolver.
What you need
Search Code + COA Number
Exact-link rule
Submit the printed value as the search_code parameter to https://files.mdxbiolabs.com/download.php?search_code=<code>&response_type=url and retain the official URL returned. Never guess a code from the filename or vendor lot.
Stored identifiers complete?
Yes
Record-specific links?
No
Identifier copyable?
Yes

Identifiers on the certificate

  • Search CodeThe certificate header or footer in the field labeled Search Code; retained examples use a 5- to 10-digit numeric value.
  • COA NumberThe certificate identification block; it may repeat the search value and remains a comparison field.

Result handling

How each verification state is reported

Exact match

Use only when the official destination returns the same identifier and the material certificate fields agree.

No match

Use only after a functioning official lookup explicitly returns no record for the submitted identifier.

Conflict

Use when the official destination resolves the identifier but returns a different report, product, batch, or other material identity field.

Portal unavailable

CAPTCHA, login, timeout, rate limit, outage, or an unusable response remains portal unavailable, not an invalid certificate.

Unsupported lab

Not applicable to the current MDx adapter; portal-unavailable and explicit no-match remain distinct states.

Unresolved

Use when the issuer identity, required identifier, or official workflow cannot be established from the available evidence.

Certificate structure

Multi-page and multi-panel reports

Multi-page

The frozen corpus renders MDx records as single-page certificates; preserve all returned pages or attachments if the official response expands beyond one page.

Multi-panel

Keep purity, identity, content, endotoxin, sterility, and other panels separate. The lab's general capabilities do not prove that a particular certificate included a test.

Evidence boundaries

What the record does—and does not—connect

Certificate identity
A certificate file, its printed identifiers, and its retained fingerprint identify that document only.
Issuer verification
Only a returned MDx-hosted document matching the printed search code verifies issuance; the current frozen corpus has not reached that state.
Tested sample
The report describes only the sample identified on the certificate; it does not establish how the sample was selected.
Product matching
Match a report to a product only when the compound, strength or formulation, and lot or batch agree exactly.
Physical-vial custody
Physical-vial custody is unknown unless a documented chain connects the tested sample to the specific vial in hand.

Review receipts

Records and discrepancies checked

Representative records

  • coa:67ed4c1c7443bd7f879edca0Amino Vault Selank/Semax Blend, QC25089, Search Code 251683: explicit no-match and correctly excluded from public display.
  • coa:0120dc065be553d78764c7b7BioLongevity record, lot 28-3-46136, Search Code 261510: portal unavailable, not invalid.

Concrete discrepancies

  • The frozen checker stores a usable copyable search identifier for all 183 MDx records but zero successful issuer-verification receipts.
  • All 178 public MDx records are labeled portal unavailable; five explicit no-match records are internal and must not be promoted.
  • The official lab site currently uses mdxbiolabs.com, while an additional mdxbioanalytical.com search result was intermittently unavailable; the issuer domain should be normalized to the certificate and functioning official destination.

Reusable integration rule: For future vendors, capture the printed Search Code, call only the official file resolver, store the returned exact URL and fingerprint, and keep unavailable responses separate from definitive no-match results.
