Trust & Safety

Scam Alerts

Not every peptide vendor is trustworthy. We independently track vendor quality using COA verification, community reviews, and transparency signals. Below are vendors that have raised concerns, along with common tactics to watch for.

Flagged Vendors

These vendors scored 4/10 or below in our quality rating system.

Axiom Peptides4/10 — Caution

Claims 99%+ purity with independent testing per batch, but no public COA page found. ⚠️ Extremely thin community footprint; Canadian variant bcaxiompeptide.com has only 1 Trustpilot review. Brand-name ambiguity with Axiom HealthSpan (unrelated wellness brand).

Liv Pure Wellness4/10 — Caution

Dedicated COA page linked in footer, but uses non-standard 'Certificate of Authenticity' terminology rather than the industry-standard 'Certificate of Analysis'. Third-party lab not named. Limited community footprint; easily confused with the unrelated Liv Pure weight-loss supplement.

BioLongevity Labs4/10 — Caution

⚠️ MAJOR CONCERNS. Publishes COAs and claims triple third-party lab + sterility testing with GMP-certified manufacturing, but independent testing tells a different story: Finnrick Analytics rated their BPC-157 an 'E' (Bad — worst possible grade) across 11 samples, avg 4.7/10. Retatrutide one batch underfilled by 30%. Only Ipamorelin and GHK-Cu passed Finnrick with 'A' ratings. ⚠️ Trustpilot profile was removed for violating guidelines. r/Biohackers thread 'Stay Away from Biolongevity Labs' details co-founder reportedly responding aggressively to a customer COA request. Multiple reports of overpricing vs competitors; r/Entrepreneur report of yellowish cloudy vials (contamination/QC concern). Based in Akron, Ohio. Broad catalog including rare Khavinson bioregulators.

TRS ResearchUnverified

⚠️ ZERO public footprint. No Trustpilot page, no Reddit threads, no Scam Detector entry, no BBB record, no social media presence. Searches under 'TRS Research peptides', 'trspeptides.com', 'trsresearch.com' return nothing vendor-specific. Cannot confirm the site is even operational. Marked Unverified until footprint emerges.

Common Scam Tactics

Fake or Mismatched COAs
Vendor publishes Certificates of Analysis, but batch IDs on vials don't match published documents. Some COAs may be fabricated or belong to different batches entirely.
Non-Delivery / Ghost Shipping
Vendor charges the customer but never ships the product, or provides a fake tracking number that never updates.
Underfilled Vials
The vial contains less peptide than advertised (e.g., 3mg instead of 5mg). Only detectable with proper analytical testing.
Relabeled Generic Product
The same generic peptide from a Chinese wholesale supplier is relabeled with a premium vendor brand to justify a higher price.
Fake Reviews / Astroturfing
Vendor creates fake positive reviews on Trustpilot or Reddit to build artificial credibility. Look for review patterns: all 5-star, similar writing style, posted within a short time window.
Bait-and-Switch Pricing
Low price advertised to attract customers, but actual checkout price is higher due to hidden fees, 'processing charges', or automatic upsells.

Red Flags Checklist

Before ordering from any vendor, check for these warning signs:

  • No named third-party lab on COAs (or no COAs at all)
  • Brand new domain (< 6 months old) with no community presence
  • Scam Detector or similar fraud detection scores below 30/100
  • Multiple non-delivery complaints on Trustpilot or Reddit
  • COA batch IDs that don't match the vials shipped
  • No physical address or contact information on the website
  • Only accepts cryptocurrency (no credit card or PayPal option)
  • Unusually low prices with no explanation (below cost of synthesis)
  • Aggressive popup marketing and fake urgency ('Only 2 left!')
  • No return policy or customer service contact method

How to Verify a Vendor

  1. Check our vendor page for their quality score and COA status
  2. Look for named third-party labs (Janoshik, Colmaric, Vanguard) on their COAs
  3. Search Reddit (r/Peptides, r/Biohackers) for real user experiences
  4. Check Trustpilot for review volume and authenticity patterns
  5. Verify their domain age using WHOIS lookup
  6. Confirm they accept credit cards (chargeback protection for you)
  7. Test their customer service with a pre-purchase question
